We are currently seeking a Sales Rep for an IT Data solutions firm in the Beltsville, MD area.

Individual must have proven track record in Solution Sales and, ideally, deep skills in colocation/datacenter/disaster recovery/cloud/hosting services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 2 to 5 years work experience in technical sales 
• Preferred background with technology product purchasing and sales support with an emphasis in virtualization, cloud computing, networking and storage.
• A verifiable track record of overachievement that understands customer needs, can identify requirements and provide follow-up solutions.
• Strong organizational skills, superior attention to detail and quality awareness, excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Multi-tasking and time management skills, strength at setting priorities, a problem solver and ability to self-manage and self-motivate.
• A sustained sense of urgency and goal orientation, strong desire to succeed, highly motivated, independent, resourceful and willing to learn, positive attitude and team player.
• Prior utilization and considerable experience with a quoting tool, CRM system and MS Office suite of products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
