Job Description:

A clinical trial and biotechnology research organization is searching for an experienced Clinical Operations Director. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background facilitating all facets of clinical trials, preferably in the field of Oncology.

The Clinical Operations Director will be delivering services to clinical trial areas from the Pharma/CROs industries and managing teams involved with the company’s clinical trial and research sites. In addition, the Clinical Operations Director should, through already established industry contacts, build the revenue of the company.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced degree preferred
• Must have 10+years of progressive experience with Clinical Trials, with
  a minimum of 5 years experience managing global pharmaceutical 
  research trials in a sponsor or clinical research organization (CRO)
  environment
• History of working Oncology Clinical Trial sites (preferred).  
• Experience with Investigator Site management
• Demonstrated strong Business Development Skills & Project leadership
• Ability to plan, manage and achieve goals
• This position requires presentation skills, the ability to communicate
  technical information, the ability to understand complex challenges,
  and work effectively with large, international teams
• Must have knowledge of current regulatory requirements and
  guidelines governing clinical research including but not limited to:
  • ICH Guidelines/GCP Expertise
  • FDA Audit Issues
  • SOP Implementation
  • Phase I,II,III studies
  • Quality Assurance Audits
• Openness to travel on as needed basis
