Job Description:
A clinical trail and biotechnology research organization is searching for an experienced Business Development Manager. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of FIVE years experience across academic medical centers, community practices, consultancies pharmaceuticals and at a large worldwide Clinical Research Organizations (CRO). This person will be responsible for business development services directly to major pharmaceuticals and CRO’s offering the company site management services. Responsible for developing ongoing relationships with clients, with the goal of securing site management contracts at the start up phase of oncology clinical trials. Will acquire CDA’s and protocols of potential trails for review by VP. Travel to oncology trails project manager across USA and attend all pertinent trade shows and conferences.
Job Requirements:
- Four year degree or better in science, or health related field.
- Excellent communications skills (writing and verbal)
- At least 5 years experience with:
- Major CROs
- Academic Medical Centers
- Community practices
- Consultancies
- Demonstrated success in clinical operations and business development
- Ability to work quickly and independently, as well as with a team
- CRO Management experience is required
- Openness to travel throughout USA for trade shows and conferences
