We are in search of a Senior Windows Systems Administrator for the IT Infrastructure Department located in Rockville, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior technical resource for Microsoft Windows servers supporting business and research systems.
- Plan, design, deploy and support file, print, Active Directory (AD), web, and application services on Windows servers.
- Plan, design, deploy and support Group Policies to manage AD users and computers.
- Perform site visits as needed to business-supported activities in order to interact with users and anticipate needs.
- Solve shared systems and network-related issues as they arise.
- Provide second tier support to IT Services support staff as required for managing Windows desktops/laptops.
Requirements:
Experience configuring and supporting Windows servers and Active Directory in a multi-platform environment. Advanced skills in systems and network troubleshooting and problem solving.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience in Information Technology services.
